We have taken great measures to be sure we source each of our precious ingredients from high-quality, reputable and ethical sources. Mostly all of our ingredients come from England and Europe, as we have come to learn that things are most useful in their natural environment.

Our products are handcrafted using the best ingredients available to us, a lot of time and thought goes into creating each one to ensure its quality and effectiveness. Because the products are pure and free of bulking agents, only a small amount is needed. We keep the manufacturing processes to a minimum to preserve the quality of the product.

  • Cannabis sativa
  • Hemp is a remarkable plant with many benefits. In skincare we use the nutritional oil Cannabis Sativa seed oil made from the seeds of the plant, containing none of the psychoactive qualities of Cannabis oil. Hemp oil has one of the highest essential fatty acid contents at 75-80% EFA’s. It has strong antioxidant effects and naturally protects skin. Hemp oil has been clinically proven to help various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.

  • Hippophae rhamnoides
  • The oil made from this plant is known as the richest oil on earth, rich in natural minerals and vitamins. It contains an abundance of health promoting bioactive components, such as vitamin A, vitamin E and rare essential fatty acids. The colour of the pure oil says it all, we only ever use this oil as a nutrifying component to whole blends, as the neat oil would stain your skin bright amber due to its high content of carotenoids and carotene!

  • Cera Alba
  • Beeswax is a natural wax substance that is made entirely by bees. Its exfoliating and reparative properties combined with its vitamin content helps promote the skin’s regeneration and rejuvenation by helping diminish the appearance of the signs of aging. Refreshing, restorative, and gentle enough for use on even the most sensitive skin, Beeswax is known to soothe itchiness and irritation, and to nourish dry, cracked, broken areas.

  • Calendula officinalis
  • Otherwise known as Marigolds, we first met Calendula growing in our own back garden! It’s golden petals are renowned for its soothing, anti-inflammatory and tissue regenerating properties. It’s great for all skin types especially sensitive skins. Those with eczema and psoriasis often find some relief when using this herb because of its many healing aspects.

  • Lavendula angustifolia
  • The word lavender is derived from the Latin word lavera, “to wash,” because the Romans used the flowers in their baths. It is an incredibly calming and soothing herb, with its roots grown at high altitude over 2,800ft. Some might say this is where its ability to elevate you into higher states of consciousness comes from. Its rich purple colour is associated with high spiritual work.

  • Anthemis nobilis
  • Used extensively as a medicinal herb for at least 2,000 years. In early Scandinavian culture, Chamomile was associated with the sun god, and it has appeared in all the European herbals. It is known for its anti-inflammatory, calmative, antibacterial, and sedative qualities. It is very useful for skin irritations, rashes, eczema and the like. We also include it for its soothing abilities for the mind.

  • Rose is so entwined with the notions of beauty and love, it’s scent conjures floral gardens and romance. Rose has many benefits for the skin, and they have been used since. Rose is moisturising and naturally antibacterial, it also contains high amounts of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant. Rose is aromatically relaxing, it is used heavily in Ayurvedic medicine for its abilities to detoxify and calm.
